Anyone shoot/hunt with these?

I shot them (.243 Win) when they first came out, they shot accurately and performed well. But didn't do anything a Game King couldn't.

I dug out an old box of .284 140's and they shoot well (7-08AI) I think I will get more unless you guys know something I don't. My box of bullets are from the late 90's. Any changes to its materials, design or performance?

I've shot the 140gr in the past from our 7mm-08's, and 150gr from the 7mm Rem Mag.

They shoot great, in my experience they hold together better than the game kings.

I would use them again in a heart beat, but the ones I have I left, I reload them for my brother for his 7RSAUM.

I still have some for my 7 RM and they are pretty consistent. Group well and retain weigh on game. Usually not a pass through though.
So no blood trail.

My brother and I shoot the 140 C/T in our 7 STWs with IMR 7828, Win brass, fed 215s. We have never had anything but very dead deer.

Remington 7 Mags love the 140 and 150g C/T bullets, amazing velocity and accuracy. R#25 with a win mag primer shoots bug holes with the 150 C/T bullet at 3200 fps in my 26" Factory Rem sporter in 7 mag with a Max load, the hotter the load, the more accurate the load gets with the bullet .005 off the lands ONLY! Sort bullets by ogive length.

My brother has an 11T,27", Pac Nor super match three groove where he is shooting the 140C/T at 3650+ with amazing accuracy. He has killed a bunch of really big white tails in Kansas with this rifle.
Vince, I am hoping when I get the long barreled 7stw home I can push them about that speed. But right now running them at 3535 fps is like hitting them with Thors Hammer

I used to shoot the 140 gr several years ago in my 7WSM. I harvested my largest whitetail at that time with them at approximately 65 yds. The bullet entered at the last rib and stopped at the front shoulder/base of the neck junction, there was nothing left except powdered bullet fragments.

I know the range was close, the velocity high but I do not reload these for my magnums anymore. Just my experience and opinion.

Are they basically coated Ballistic Tips or is there more difference ?

Don't quote me on this, but years ago while at our local sportsman's show, Nosler was there and they were promoting these bullets. If I remember correctly, these were the first iteration of the accubonds. Iat be completely wrong, but either way, they shoot and shoot well.

They shoot like a dream. I could consistently get .336" groups at 100 yds all day long, 3,100-3,200fps. Killed every deer I ever shot at with them. Took 10 one morning on a doe reduction hunt from 75 out to 419 yds. Only one of the 10 ever moved out of its tracts. The only reason I don't reload the 140's in my 7WSM is the blown up bullet on a severe quartering away shot taken on a large mature buck. He only made it about 50 yds, some, but little blood right at dark in a swamp. Personally I'd preferred a complete pass thru with more blood but didn't get it. I swapped over to the Accubonds, get pass thru 's ever time now with no exceptions yet even with the 90gr in 243.

I never said they didn't shoot well, never said they would not harvest a deer well. It's just not my preferred projectile for how and where I hunt.
