I'm a bit disappointed in Sitka. Was looking for jacket/hoodie to match the bibs I bought last year. Placed an order through their website this past Monday and email acknowledgement received. Also received notice the payment was processed. But no order has shipped. Now, my bank has removed the charge they had pending. I guess their sale price was a misprint?

Looks like orders can be cancelled if they decide to do it.

If you work for Sitka, I get to hunt for one week a year. Sitka, you are about to ruin my week by forcing me to turn elsewhere as time is running out to have the gear I am looking for. I will wait for you to act on this until Wednesday.

Rant over.

Hope everyone gets the state or world trophy you are hunting for!

ADDED FOR CLARITY: Been hunting since I was 12 years old... 62 now. Hunted in blue jeans and Levi jackets, and everything in between. Shot a doe in VA once wearing an orange coverall... she ran 10 yards up to me as I was standing on the ground. Never even looked at me. This Sitka deal is just me getting older and liking the pattern. I know it is not necessary...the aggravation is in the way the order has been handled.

Deer don't care if you're dressed like a model for Sitka, or what camo you wear, find something else. Pro tip; don't wait to order so close to season.

That IS a pro tip for sure.

However the irony is telling someone that Sitka doesn't matter while having a picture on the forum wearing Sitka.
Sitka, kuiu, first light....Whatever is on sale. Prefer kuiu. The coues in my avatar didn't care that I had a sitka shirt and kuiu pants on. Having camo that doesn't match will never ruin a hunt for me.

Pro tip - I don't determine Sitka sale dates. At any rate, we live in the age of next day delivery, and I did order in time for the season. Of course, I can (likely will) just wear the jacket I wore last year. It all works out...

My buddy had the same problem with an order from them recently . Then all of a sudden a week or so later he got a shipped notice. He was defiantly not impressed .

Matching camo?? Does that really happen?? None of my camo matches with several different manufacturers but it doesn't stop me. My wife shot her whitie buck 2 hrs ago and I didn't have camo on

I have switched from Sitka to Stone Glacier for technical clothing. SG does not have a "camo" pattern they push. When I see or hear guys arguing about which camo patters is best, I ask them the following, "What camo pattern did Fred Bear use? That usually ends the conversation. DD62 P.S. I am showing my age referencing Fred Bear. You young guys Google Fred Bear and learn.

Here is a "pro-tip" to everyone.
If you are even close to being in the market for good water resistant (I say resistant because no clothing in 100% proof) clothing then buy it sooner than later!
The government is banning the use of a key element that is used in the production of water proofing and so far the company's that make it have not found a replacement that works as well.
I heard this on a podcast from someone that works for Sitka.
The ban starts in 2025!

In the age of telephones and customer service, why didn't you just call them directly and ask instead of resorting to the internet for an answer that could have been easily answered by a phone call to the actual company.
Not sure what you had hoped to gain by this.
Not defending Sitka, but it would be better served to contact them directly then attempting to bash them on a forum.
