I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice. The Leupold Alumnia scope covers are also nice if you can afford them. Good luck.

They are ordered also but the eyepiece (36mm) are back ordered for a few days.

Oh, well I see you're a head of the game .

For the more economically deprived among us, Riton makes several scopes with a German #4 style reticle with a beautiful adjustable firedot. Glass good for the price.

There are three of us who hunt together, we have at least 8 Leupold Firedot scopes on our various rifles. We hunt black bear over bait, most of our shooting time is during that magic hour just before dark. I have shot several bears during this time, one that I never would have gotten had it not been for the Firedot. The red dot can be managed quite well and easily. From a very bright and large dot, to a minuscule small dot. Once the dot is set the memory in the scope will shut down when the rifle is not moved, and come on with movement of the rifle. The Firedots are made both in red and in green dots, I have both but prefer the green dot over the red one. Not a big deal at all, just my preference.

I didn't realize they came with a green dot. All mine are red dot. I do have a Trijicon with green dot.
