I went with the slick cf pro 632 and wiser pan head for a coues deer hunt last month. I have no regrets, would buy the same setup again.
Preferred Glassing Tripod for Backpack Hunting?

As mentioned, you can look at sa bunch, but please check out Tricre for head(exceptional) and tripod... you will not regret it. State of the art in today's world, with service you cannot duplicate in the market... I have the head and am saving for their tripod. I am not affiliated in anyway... I'll chime in here as I was in search of a backpack hunting tripod which would serve multiple purposes: I wanted it to be sturdy enough from which to shoot my rifle. It would have to have a "solid" attachment point from my rifle and for my spotting scope and binos. I wanted to be able to glass or shoot while in a standing position. I wanted to keep the weight relatively low and I wanted it to have versatility in which heads/attachments I could use. After speaking with Cody at GoHunt I settled on the Tricer AD with the Tricer Pan Head. I already own and use the Spartan Precision javelin bipod and with that, adapters on each of my rifles (one bipod to use on ALL of my rifles is NICE!). I then got several Arca-Swiss plates to make for easy detach/attachment of each "appliance." I also picked up the Spartan Precision Davros head which I can keep in my pocket and when needed simply attach it via the arca-swiss plate to the panhead. Now, I feel that I have the best of ALL worlds. The Tripod and pan head comes in at 36.3oz on the button. I am learning to shoot from it but so far, so good!

I'm guessing you use the tricer AC to swap back and forth? Did you put rails on your stocks then if you don't use the davros?
I'm looking to do the same I think but the the ad tripod, just don't know if I want to add rails to my stocks also….

I do use the AC. I mainly use a chassis with built in arca, but I have put a arca on a few rifle stocks. I use the SRS Arca Balance on rifle stocks. Light weight and close to the balance point.
I've had the Slick sprint mini for 10 years it's been awesome

I had a tricer bc but i didn't care for it. It was too narrow to comfortably use sitting. I know use a sirui t-024sk and a tricer lp head
I just recently ordered and received my Tricer BC and LP today. I'm pretty impressed. The LP is very smooth. I don't think it's smoother than my VA-5 but it is comparable in a much smaller lighter package. I'm able to comfortably sit behind it with the legs spread out and extended. The size is perfect, the weight is even better. I also ordered their binocular adapter to try out too. Compared to my Outdoorsman's it is also considerably lighter, bonus that my Outdoorsman's stud works in the Tricer and the Tricer stud in my Outdoorsman's adapter. I haven't put the spotter on the Tricer yet but I don't see how it would be an issue, the head locks up well when tightened.
