per firearm how many different bullet weights do you have per? although i have many of the same cartridge in the same platform (ar and/or ba) that have the same barrel length and twist i shoot many different weights and types in the same firearm. 26 and 30 cals are the biggest spread of weights i have. back when i only shot a mod70 pre64 in 264wm my preferred weights were mainly sierra 100hp and 140sbt's. both would have the same "0" @ 100 yards as not to change that. i've changed a lot on the way and how i reload due to having a variety when it comes too more than 1 firearm in the same cartridge. with having 5 different 26cal (6.5gren, 6.5creed, 260rem, 6.5prc & 264wm) cartridges that have a total of 12 firearms in that caliber and can tune 1 or 2 bullets per firearm. 30cal is my next variety in cartridges of 3 for now (300bo, 308win & 300wm), but will add 2 or 3 more (300wsm & 300nm and maybe 300saum). other cartridges i have in rifles are 1 or 2 per caliber (5.56, 243win, 6.8spc, 270win, 338lm & 45-70gvt).

Each firearm for me is normally 2 bullets/weights. I do not use multiple bullet weights in one gun, this to me, is ridiculous. You have to re-zero every time you change bullets.
I could list what I use, but I'll just say when I have 5 300WM, 300RUM, 300-416 Rigby Improved, 30-30, 4 25cals, 5 6.5 cals, 2 7mm,4 338's, 2 375's & few 458's plus many others, all of them use different weight bullets, some only one bullet and weight.
Switching barrels also introduces changes in POI, so I keep tabs on that too, it is taped into each barrels ammo box how many clicks needed for zero.

My deer rifle, lightweight rig, runs ONE bullet only, it has since I trued it and switch barreled the action, it hasn't had a barrel swap in many years now.

For me I tend to find 1 or 2 bullet weights that work well and just stick with those depending on what I'm shooting at.
My 30.06 I mostly use 165 gr serial bthp game kings.
270 win mostly use 130 gr accubonds or ttsx but it does shoot 150 gr speer hot cores very well.
270 wsm is mostly shooting 165gr ablr's
223 mostly 75gr or 55 gr fmj
308 is 165 or 155 gr
25 creed is 133 or 134 gr might try 120 gr
25-35 117 or 110 gr
22 hornet is 45 or 34
38-55 250 or 260 lead cast
So I guess I just kinda stick to middle of the road bullet weights for caliber

I generally have two per rifle, one a cup and core of some flavor and a mono metal for the other. The main exception to this is if I cannot source the bullet I want (like the 338 300gr Berger EH) or something that has a extremely similar counterpart (like the Nosler Ballistic tip and Accubond).
I know a couple of guys that will occasionally shoot their "benchrest" rifle at game. They "may" use something else as a hunting bullet.

In my 308wins and have 7 different firearms in that cartridge, I can shoot 2 or 3 different weights that's within 15-20 grains. I don't hunt, so the reasoning for a variety of bullets. If I were to hunt all I need is a shotgun for quail and pheasant. The majority of my long guns are in AR's. Pigs get the most of my AR fun as they are a destructive beast!

i was a one bullet per rifle guy until I started shooting hammer bullets. I have five 5/8 moa loads each for my 7 STW and 300WM.
If you don't hunt with that particular rifle I would just buy supply's ammo and not worry about it.
At least I tell my self.

And yet I'm never satisfied with the 1 and done concept.
If ww3 stared and it came down to 1 gun and bullet I'd freeze up and lock into stupidly mode. Hahaha

25 caliber 75, 90, 100, 115, 120gr.
7mm 100, 120, 130, 139, 140, 150, 160, 168, 175.
So, yeah I do shoot multiple weights in multiple cartridges.

i'm not a "heavy for caliber" shooter as in 250's in a 308win type. except for the 300bo i may go as high as 190's if the barrel is long enough to give me my minimum velocity of 2.700fps (just my preference).
300bo lengths only in 8.5", so nothing is going fast in that!
308win lengths in 12.5, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26" as most are 10T and only the m118 chambers have an 11T.
300wm lengths from 24 (9.4 or 9.25T?), 26 (10T) and 30" (9T).
I use accordingly bullets that'll accept those rates. the 30" is more for the berger 215 & 230's, nosler 210 & 220's (for now), hornady 195, 200, 208, 212, 220 & 225's and sierra 210 & 240's. the other 2 will shoot 170- 210's.
i do similar weights per cartridge in the 26 cals also.
6.5gren (20 & 24") use 90-115's except for lapua 144's.
6.5creed (18, 20, 22 & 24") shoot 123, 130, 135, 139, 140 & 142's
260rem will shoot a little heavier going up to 147's.
6.5prc (22" 8T) will shoot the same as the creed and rem.
264wm's (mod70 9T 26") shoot from 90-140's while the 7.5T 32" will shoot the 140-150's (designed for the 150smk), but might shoot bullets from 140-156? only 3 264wm's for now and working on a semi-auto version just because.
lots of this is due to having 6 kids that love to shoot and make a great learning tool! so far i'm at 10 firearms per kid in rifles only, but starting to accrue more handguns to have 2-4 per kid. each has their own love for specific cartridge(s) which makes this more fun!!!!!!!
before my "bumpstock" was lost in a boating accident
i was shooting an ar in 308win and my oldest thought i had a full auto?

Ruger 77 MKII in 257 Roberts, all bullet weights.
Savage 111 in 257 Roberts AI, all bullet weights.
Browning A Bolt SSA in 25 WSSM, all bullet weights.
Ruger 77 MKII in 25-06, all bullet weights.
You get the picture.
I load for the game I'm hunting, no matter which rifle or cartridge.

My 6.5x47 uses Lapua Scener 123g OTM. (Target rifle)
My 6.5x47 uses 130g Accubonds. (Hunting rifle)
My 260AI uses 142g ABLR for hunting, but truly is my target rifle.
My 264WM custom uses 142g ABLR. Currently testing 150g ABLR.
My 6.5-300 Weatherby uses 142g ABLR.
My 270 Weatherby and 270 both use 150g Partitions.
My 7-08 uses 150g Ballistic Tips.
My 7STW uses 168g ABLR.
My Win EW 300WM deer rifle uses 180g Accubonds. My REM Sendero 300WM deer rifle uses 200g Accubonds. My LR 300WM uses 210g ABLR. My Kimber 300WM uses 180g Accubonds too. My REM Sendero uses 210g ABLR.

I have plenty of bullet weights for each cartridge I shoot.
For example, in my 22 Creed:
- 88 ELDM
- 85.5 Berger
- 77 TMK
- 62 ELDVT
All shoot very well - the 88s have been used on deer, antelope, and coyotes. Just tried the 62s and they are going 3650. I'll be using those for thermal hunting this winter.
My 6.5 PRC: 140 hybrids, 147 ELDM, 156 Berger
Etc for my 6 CM, 6 ARC, 300 BLK, 338 RUM
Having to zero a rifle isn't a chore at all.
For example, in my 22 Creed:
