Ron Power Gunsmith

How sad. I had one of his barrels/ sight rails mounted on a S&W 586. It was a heck of a shooter. May he rest in peace.

am not familiar with his work and with the look of this replies i missed out for sure, hopefully he had a fulfilled life..

Ron Powers truly a legend. Could work more magic on a Smith revolver in minutes then most 'smith could in hours. May he rest in peace.

First we lose Ed Brown, now Ron Powers.

Ron has done I believe Four Power Custom Combat Revolvers for me over the last 30 some years.
The First was a 625, followed by a 610, then a GP100, and the last a 686. The last two were not marked as he had ran out of the things he used to mark them. He still worked on some old customer guns after he retired.
