Help with bottom metal.

Some time ago I purchased some bottom metal sold as Hawkins for M5 stock cut long action. It has been on the shelf for several years until last week when I started a build. It is indeed long action and M5 cut but it does not appear to be for AICS mags. I have not purchased a long action magazine until I decide between 30/06 and 7mm Rem but the bottom metal is much narrower than my short action AICS mags. Anyone got any ideas who's bottom metal this is and what mag fits. I sent photo's to Hawkins, got several responses but they do not appear to read my replies.

Thanks for the replies. Could you measure across the top front of one of the long magazines? I did not know there was a difference. The bottom metal fits the stock very well. Most of the folks I know have gone to short action cartridges. I'll try to find someone with a long action magazine to try. Hate to order mags unless I am pretty sure they will fit.
 
This is for a legacy Long Action AICS magazine marked "300 WM"

Width -front = 0.64"
Width-rear = 0.73"
Length-external = 3.73"
Length-internal = 3.61"
 
Thanks again. It looks like it will work. Now to decide, 30/06 or 7mm Rem. For years I considered a 7mm Rem just a loud 30/06 but bullets like the 180 ELD are changing my mind!
