BURRIS Eliminator 6 WOW!

I believe Gunwerks offers one thet looks very interesting. Revic Radikl RS25b Rifle Scope 4-25x50 with ballistics. Looks awesome
Ya it looks pretty cool
Little different because it doesn't have an on board range finder
But the calculator will be the best for sure

I disagree. Only thing that will change is that guys will think they can make shots that are even further than before. I'd agree with your argument if hunters had a max distance and increased technology made them more lethal at that distance. As a kid I remember when 400 seemed so far away, now with new technology 400 is a chip shot. 800 is the new 400. Same number of animals being wounded and missed, just a lot farther away.

Sign me up for ALL the weapons restrictions!!!!!!!!
Better start archery hunting Bro.

I've emailed BURRIS with my 2 wishes for improving their ELIMINATOR 6 scope.
1.) Give buyers the option (likely for a bit more money) of having the HORNADY 4DOF ballistic engine. It's been shown in long range competitions to need far less "trueing" than even the Applied Ballistics' engine.

2.) Add the capability for wind readings from say, a KESTREL hand held unit to be directly "Bluetoothed" to the scope.

It's best to read the owners manual rather than either of us debating the value of a product neither of us has used.im merely here to let folks know as you say...the difference between fact and fiction.....Burris clearly states that the operating temperature range of this product is between 110 F AND MINUS(- 4 F) ... not good for Alberta hunters! Or most of the Northern States and Western Canada either. My laser rangefinder takes the same battery....it failed to read or function at all at minus 5. But it only cost 599.00 and only performs 3 functions...not 6-8.. At the end of the day...it's just buyer beware....and I'm making all aware of its potential short comings.
Have you ever used hand warmers to make it warmer, close to the battery compartment

Even with my illuminated 4.5 - 18 x 44 Bushnell Elite scope if I were hunting in bitter weather I'd put a hand warmer under a stretch neoprene scope cover to keep that skinny little coin battery warm enough. So it's not just the Eliminator scopes that need "warmth" but many others, like several SIG scopes and other BURRIS scopes that need TLC in cold weather. True, lithium batteries are more resistant to cold weather than all others but they still have their limits.

BTW, there is a very detailed review/comparison of theEliminator 6 on The Sniper's Hide. Theauthor tested tehE6 in virtually every way possible against a Vortex scope and rangefinding binoculars.
If you are thinking of getting and E6 you need to read this article. It has several good illustrations.
Me? I'm holding off until 2025 to see if Burris makes any changes to their newest Eliminator - unless, of course, some retailer has a 20% off sale!

Well... the REVIC "calculator" may be good, as likely will be the BURRIS Eliminator 6 ballistic engine but the very best ballistic engine is the Hornady 4DOF. It is the only one that uses Doppler radar for exact (not mathematically derived data on all the cartridges in its extensive library.
