800yd Coyote/ varmint rifle

Thought it was time to get an AR-15, but wanted something practical. Did some research and decided an AR Coyote/ varmint rifle chambered in 6mm ARC fit the bill. Rifle will have a 22in barrel and high quality upper and lower. A Trigger Tech Diamond trigger set at 1.5lbs will complete the build. Am mounting a Zeiss Victory Diavari FL 4-16x50 for sighting.
Am I crazy, or will this work?

"Wanted something practical" how about a 20 practical? lol. If you are wanting run heavies, I would say go for the ARC. If you think you'll have a tough time sourcing good brass i would recommend building a 6x45 and use light weight bullets.

Well, my Granddaughter and I finally got to the 1000 yd range on the week of July 1st. would have posted this sooner, but an health issue sidelined me. Fully recovered now.
We both were able to maintain < 1/2 moa groups out to 700 yds. At 700yds the velocity was 1903fps and the energy was 844ftlbs.
Should be enough to at least scare the coyotes into submission

It's obvious that you kill several hundred coyotes a year, but how many have you killed over 300 yards? There is likely less than a dozen people on this forum that have killed yotes at 800 yards or more.

Love my 6 arc.
Ended up putting a 20" faxon on it shoots awesome.
I've since went suppressed and wish I would have went 16-18"
75 grain vmax with h335 3120fps is hard on dogs
