Any 25x6.5 RPM Out There?

I brought this up in a different thread a while back, but just thought I would give it it's own thread. Just curious if anyone has built a rifle chambered in 25x6.5 RPM? I know, I know....why not just build a 25 prc or 25 saum? But I just got thinking that if I already have a standard/30-06 bolt face action, a 25x6.5 rpm could get me 25 cal magnum performance.

And my local gun stores seem to have plenty of brass and dies on the shelves. I think it's because it's not a very popular caliber so brass just collects dust...at least around here.

Has anyone done it yet, and if so, how has it performed?
 
Old thread but still interesting for the significant possibilities. I'd be curious to hear the answers. I decided on a 6.5RPM as an improvement on the 6.5-06 I've been using. I probably wouldn't go .25 caliber just because the diameters are so close. Seems as though the .25 could be a real laser.

But I agree that it has the potential to be interesting as a cartridge. I too switched a rifle over to the 6.5 RPM and enjoy it for an option for a hunting rifle. Unfortunately, I have too many .25 caliber reamers underway with barrels waiting...😁

Come on now! I can't let the cat out of the bag this early, can I?😉😁

A couple of reamers I had made back when the 131's were released. Now though there are new case designs which will be terrific with the heavier 25's.

Just biding my time waiting for reamers so I can make dies!

257 rpm is put together. Hope shoot is a little this weekend.

Ok... not trying to be a downer by asking the question... but what's the difference in performance between a 25-06 AI and the 257 RPM????

Not that it matters. It looks sweet!!!
