I'd try and fix it yourself if you can. Not much to loose
RCBS CS was the World's finest previous to Vista takeover. I had a 1500 chargemaster for 10yrs, it stopped reading the pan correctly for zero. It was 8 or more years out of warranty. They sent me a new unit. This unit has been going 15yrs with no problems. So, I bought another one as backup after the present day Vista RCBS wouldn't even send me a new threaded cap for the kinetic hammer puller without me first sending in my puller at my cost. Prior to Vista, the old RCBS sent me 3 caps with no fuss. There is really and end to all good things.
