7 SAW chamber

Thanks! Considering building one with an 18" barrel. I think with that barrel length I wouldn't have the velocity to take advantage of the heavier longer bullets.

I have the SAW 2 chamber and get 2790 in a 24" barrel … so close to what they advertised in velocity. But my AI I get 2910 in my 26" barrel, but it is on a XM action and not loaded hot with Varget.
Just food for thought: I get 2695 with a 162 Amax and 3190 with a 120g BT from my 7mm Creedmoor.
 
My AI is on a Medium action so I like it better because it gives me more versatility and loading certain bullets. But if you're sticking with a short action and want to ensure positive feeding the SAW is a good way to go
