Barrel and "GO" gauge.
  • Big Horn Origin 7 Sherman Short. 26" PROOF carbon Fiber Sendero 1:8.4 twist chambered and finished by Southern Precision Rifles (SPR - aka Bugholes). .110 throat, muzzle threads are 5/8x24. 97 rounds down the barrel. Barrel is mint and SPR does fantastic work
  • 7SS "go" gauge.

  • 18 - 40 degree empty cases on 2nd firing.
  • 29 - 40 degree loaded rounds ready for second firing. (can pull for you if you'd like - what shot safe in my rifle probably won't match yours).

  • 100 - thirty degree 7SS head stamped virgin brass (must be fire formed - fire forming is easy , fun and accurate, I could have hunted mine!)

A chamber? What bullets and speed were you getting?
Sorry, I thought I replied to this via my phone yesterday - apparently not.

"A" chamber and I settled on 3030FPS with 175/180 bergers. The 175 load is published on the SS load pages on Sherman's website.

That is where I stopped development because it was more than enough velocity, accuracy/repeatability was there and I was out of time. Dies are all "A" chamber as well. The pile of brass I have is also pre "B" chamber adjustments but the website says the brass doesn't change for B chamber. Again sorry for the delay. I need to "tech" better.
