I am building a rifle using the Aero Precision Solus action and it is center feed required either AW or AICS style mags. Since I have a rifle using the AICS style, I considered the MDT Hunting Bottom Metal. But wanted some feedback before I order one.

I have one and I like it more than the RTG and Hawkins I previously used.

Trying to decide between these 3. What would you says makes you like the MDT over the others?

RTG>MDT>Hawkins for my preferences but all are good

I've had the RTG and UM dbm's, IMO the MDT is better than both.

MDT has some nice stuff and their bottom metal is great, haven't had any issues with them at all. I also use Badger Ordinance, but would go with MDT again in the future

Adjustable latch and the ease of operating the latch.

Is this chambered in 300 PRC or something else?
They say it won't work with RUMs, but would think if it works with the PRC, it would work with a RUM.

Yessir, 300 PRC. You'll be limited to CIP coal is maybe the better way to put it.
