I'm going through some reloading gear that I got from my uncle and am trying to figure out what brand these shell holders are. The are stamped 2, 3, and 9 (just like the Sharpie says).

I'm guessing the 2 and 3 are Lee. He wrote 30 30 on the 3 and that matches a Lee. Plus, the shell holders look so much alike. The 9 has me stumped.

It would be nice if the manufacturers would use a common numbering system.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The 2&3 look like RCBS. The 3 is for a standard bolt face cartridge or 308,30/06 and Creedmoor . Google shell holder reference chart look for Graf's chart it lists all shell holders

It's hard to tell. I have 4 different shell holder brands, but I cannot tell by looking. Here's a chart: https://www.grafs.com/uploads/technical-resource-pdf-file/15.pdf.
It's interesting that 7rem ultra mag, rcbs is only manufacturer listed that uses a different shell holder than what is specified for 7rem mag. A 38 instead of 4, wonder what is different. I had a 300wsm for a bit and the rcbs shell holder was a 43, but i couldn't measure any difference between it and a 4.
