I only by prefit barrels from him, I've never had him build a rifle. The reason I say impact actions, you don't have to send him the action in order for him to be able to get it to time correctly when you screw the barrel on.
The only thing you need todo for prefit barrels is; buy a bench vice, torque wrench, and go and no go gauges. When you get all that stuff, Put the barrel in the bench vice, put some lube on the threads, put the action on the treads, torque it down to the recommend speck, check with go and go Gauges and then go shoot.
There are several videos on how to do this from short action customs on YouTube explaining how todo so. Also, I would buy the vice from them, buy once cry once.
