Good eye, It's a Swaro Z5 3.5-18. I wanted something light with decent glass and it's been excellent. Under a pound and has never lost zero being carted around the mountains with all the associated bumps and knocks. Spotting scope is a Swaro ATC 17-40x56 that I convinced myself to splurge on specifically for this hunt. I'm considering it paid for after not having to haul up my old 4lb vortex razor

I would like to hear more on your gear you used and what you need to make these long remote trips successful.

I'm trying to absorb as much information as I can in hopes of doing something like this one day.

Late to reading this, awesome story! Congrats on your Ram!!

Taking a great Dall ram was the icing on the cake. Just being in that country has to be incredible. Being able to sit on a mountainside and see 50 miles is incredible.
