Kodiak Island mountain goat

I didn't get to deer hunt this week as the alpine area I was in was partially cloudy, blocking view of the mountain with deer but my son and I managed to get a nice billy. Brutal terrain but great time. Good weather for Kodiak. NO bears either.
Found two bottles of mostly empty bourbon lying on the tundra, miles from any access. Crazy artifacts.

Talk about making lemonade from lemons! Great job.

The best part of stories such as this is the Father/Son/Family engagement. Man, just think about having this time with your son or your family in that environment AND scoring a goat! It doesn't get much better for hunters.
