Opinions on scope rings for x-bolt

Warne Vapor or Maxima mounts, depends if you want steel or aluminum bases and Maxima low or medium rings. I have used lows depending on the contour of the barrel, mediums to get a better sight picture depending on the stock comb. Other than 2 X-Bolts with picatinny rails, I have switched 100% to the Warne 2 piece systems.

I have a like new set of 20 MOA Talleys, don't know if they'll work with the long action, you can have them if so. I need to find the part number to see.

I prefer a pic rail and then your ring options are extensive. I have used seekins (their mounting bolts are recessed so a very clean design that stays out of the way for snagging on things and maximizing bolt clearance), APA (they offer one of the lowest heights you can find for a 30mm tube), ARC, & Spuhr but there are several others who make great rings.

The xbolt ring pattern is better than the Bars but I still prefer to loctite a pic rail onto anything with a slick receiver with no recoil lugs.

If you want to never worry about the thing again epoxy the rail on and loctite the screws. The end, never going to shift on you. Then you can use some beefy rings like nightforce, warne titanium's, etc. lots of good strong pic rings.

when I'm in the middle of nowhere I enjoy knowing it's rock solid more than I hate the 2-3 ounces added
