Well if my story inspires someone to make a life change, then I'm glad I posted on this. I'd pretty much hit rock bottom emotionally, so something had to change. Thankfully, I hadn't checked out so much that I didn't take my wife's suggestion to talk to the clinic she was seeing for HRT.
I have two coworkers who have ate their way to skinny on purpose. Both got so big that our insurance paid for gastric bypass, I was well on my way there as well. While they both lost over 100 lbs each, I wonder if they could have had the same results I have if they had gone the route I did.
Honestly, making this change extended my life and saved my marriage.
