6.5 Creed and Vihtavuori N560 under 143 ELD-X

I have a friend who uses it exclusively to model his loads. He does well with it. I have never used it. He has argued with my method and said my loads should not work. .5 or better, SD in the singles, es in the teens, large sample groups, no issue getting brass to last....... I don't get it.
i use it to compare published (printed and electronic) data to my knowns. some data from long time bullet mfgrs shows WAY over pressure as i think it's a marketing ploy along with bc's that ARE higher than actual (i know bc will change giving atmospheric parameters). knowing how to use the tools given is key!

when ql gets tweaked to know numbers, it does prove useful.

here's what i don't know how to adjust for...................PRIMER TYPES (HEAT)

here's what need to be known for more accurate numbers

velocity
case capacity
I use N560 over 127 gr lrx Barnes bullet . And use federal 215 M . Works great out of my Blaser R8 / 26" barrel . Getting me close to 3000 fps. One shot kill at 220 yard on roe

Years ago they told me Retumbo would not work in a 6.5x284 Norma, but a couple guys said it would. I got almost 3000 fps pushing 140 grain Bergers, and killed a whitetail at 750 laser range finder yards, first shot. Each rifle is different. When you find something that works run with it, or shoot the barrel out trying to find something better; it's really up to you lol.

Same. I loaded retumbo as a curiosity and my main mentor at the time thought I was nuts. I used retumbo in 7 6.5-284's especially with longer barrels. Awesome combo. Works in a 243 too.

I don't use QL ever I think it's stupid. The rifle I would assume isnt having pressure signs or issues. Shooting very good numbers, I don't the know speed but the SD and ES are good. How would QL be different than what the brass or bolt lift would tell?
The difference is, by the time you see bolt swipe and ejector marks you are already well over 70,000 psi
