Alex at Wheeler Precision rebarreled a 300 RUM for this summer and throated it for 245 Breger's. I had found a 8.5 twist barrel on Bartlein's web site and had it sent to Alex. I tried some solid copper bullets before the Berger's but could not get them to group. This was the first 9 shots using Bergers with H50 BMH, CCI 250's and ADG brass, all at 90grs. Could not be happier.

According to Berger, around 2700, I'm shooting a 27" barrel at 90 grains of H50 BMG

It doesn't get much better than that !
I'd like to also say something about Alex. He quoted me a time frame of six weeks once he received all the parts that I was responsible for shipping to him. At exactly six weeks he let me know the work was completed and ready to ship. Every thing was packaged as it should be organized and secure. He took the time to communicate all return emails in 24 hours, and never made me feel as I was bothering him with questions. Lastly I'll say this when end result is as pictured. We's real happy!
