Sako 90

I'm considering getting one of these chambered in 7MM 08. Its my understanding that they haven't been released in the US yet (according to my local dealer). I would like to know if anyone has had the opportunity to handle one or better yet shoot one. I would also like to hear about any other experiences with Sako rifles in general as this will be my first.

Sakos are awesome, I have and have had several Foresters and many Finnbears as well as a couple 75s, all well below moa shooters and typically sub 1/2" moa. If the new ones follow suit, would most likely be a dandy!

It's basically just the 85 with an "improved" feed mechanism. Same barrels, same stocks, same recoil lug design.

I had an 85 that didn't have any ejection issues and it was amazing. I kick myself daily for selling it. Lee, wherever you are, I hope you enjoy it

Sako makes an off the shelf rifle that will run with any of them.

One of the few I regret selling was a sako 75 in 300 RUM. GREAT shooting rifle.

I don't know much about the 90 but as said above the sako name carries a lot of weight.
