So, I'm building a 33xc on a Bat CT-H. I'd like to get a second bolt for either 300prc or 30 nosler, and then have 2 barrels machined for the action, one for 33xc and one for one of the 30's. My goal is to be able to switch back and forth.
Is it as simple as I've heard, if you have the tools and basic understanding?
Also, would I need to send the action back to Bat to have the 2nd bolt made?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Should be as simple as headspacing a shouldered barrel to the second bolt. I have quite a few actions with different bolts that have been trued/blueprinted to the same action/barrel for ease of barrel/action timing or other lightened options…
A bolt from Bat should match your action precisely.

Cheers.

Thank you! That's exactly what I'm going for. Ideally I'd like to just have different rigs, but don't have the financial ability to do so.

Here, in this backward gun law country, we are restricted to how many complete rifles we own, but not to how many barrels and configurations we can own. I just register the largest calibre and screw on as many other barrels I want in any calibre either the same or smaller…

Cheers.

What do you guys do about the scope 0 sight-in. I was thinking of a scope I could "slip" the turrets to the new ballistics but this seems like a pain. Gonna try two scopes and see how well the rings hold 0 when switched back and forth.
What are you thoughts on this?

That's got to be hard. I've heard of and seen guys do that with prefits, but I watch Mark and Sam after work on YouTube and saw that he seems to do that with his rifle built on a barnard action.
