Hi all, i was just curious if anyone knows of someone or a company that neck custom neck turns brass? I had to size some brass down and would like the necks turned.

I bought the RCBS machine for inside and outside neck turning back when I was into competition shooting. But anyway I had more than 1000 308 win that I converted to 243 win. I've trimmed 1000s upon thousands of cases to length with inside and outside chamfering.

It's a relaxing way to spend an evening. I bought all the cutters and trimmers for all of my calibers.

I have an ancient Forster that can turn either the inside or the outside necks.

I preferred to size my cases so that the ID's where uniform, then to turn down the outside for uniformity.

However, these were just factory cases, not custom cases! A bit tedious, but not overwhelming! memtb

OP, have you tried the necked down cases? You might not need to turn them only going from 6.5mm to 6mm. I have a few rifles I have necked down, my 6CM being one. I built mine before the 6CM Lapua SRP brass was available, no I necked down 6.5CM to 6CM. No issue with either chambering or neck clearance. And I can say it is plenty accurate.

FCP (makers of IDOD) might do it for you. You have to know exactly what you want. Cost use to be $1 a piece.
