I mounted a Kahles K 525i on a Defiance Deviant with 20moa integrated rail using Seekins rings L91782. That may not be the proper part number as internet searches reveal no information on these rings. Rings were purchased second hand out of box. Front of the scope rides about 1/8" above the barrel and looks to be perfect. Not touching. Not too high.

The 30-06 AI rounds impact low at 50, 100, and 200. I thought the rail had the scope pointed too far down for the close shots. However, my impact is even lower at 200 than it is at 50. Something is wrong. What am I missing?

50 - 18" low
100 - 24" low
200 - 36" low.

Always looked at scope mounting as a combo art and science. I`ve always had someone who knew what the hell they were doing set mine up. Had no problems.

It does pay to have the proper tools and some mechanical ability. And decent reading comprehension skills. A good torque driver and a lapping bar and kit are good things to have around. You can ruin a scope pretty quick if you don't know what you're doing.
