I'm looking for "your personal experience" (let's say in the last 3 years) that you would recommend for a good guided rifle caribou hunt in Alaska for September 2025. In my younger days I hunted brown bears on Kodiak and backpacked 11 days for caribou in central alaska, so I'm not looking for a hunting lodge experience. ( I have thought about a drop camp)
I am 65, and my 44 year old nephew would like to hunt alaska while I'm still physically able to go. A super cub landing on a plateau would be nice and easy for me! If possible, a name and number would be helpful along with your opinion. ie. I would go again, it was a blast but the weather sucked, accomadations were outstanding, (your age but not required) etc. etc.
Thank you I appreciate your input!
