I'm biased, but labs are the sweetest animal on this planet IMO. They can be a handfuls, but all it takes is one soulful look and I melt like butter.

Is her last name "Cider" ?

She's pretty smart, picks up things quick. GF had her wait on the rug in DR while she's cooking. Took her on a hike last September checking out an elk area and we ran into some grouse on the trail. She got scent and was pulling me up the hill after them. It was her first time out like that. Learned to heel after a couple gentle tugs. Owner doesn't train her much or keep up on things she learns here. She is named after the dog in the TV series.

Labs are something special. We got our last lab when my daughter was 3 . She rode that dog like a horse ,pulled his ears ,stepped on him more than I could count. Always a goofy grin on his face.
My current lab Moose is completely the opposite in alot of ways . He's a people dog and not as independent as Odie was .
They are such drama queens !! Here's a pic of Moose after he opened up a cist on his paw . Turns out it's related to valley fever . He's not happy with the bandage . It was better then the satellite dish the vet put on.
