First time posting here, but active on NW Firearms, I posted there but didn't have any responses so trying here. I'm working on a design for a substitute magazine for the Seekins Havok carbon fiber magazine. It works well in my 28 nosler; but looking for people that have the long action that I can send a magazine to you for testing and evaluation, I'm not selling these and I will cover the shipping costs.

Ok, thanks 3 is good sample size and probably will do supporter, need to get to work and get settled in and take a look.

Going to try and get them done by end of week, I'm doing an ACIS mag for my Dad's 28 Nosler and going to take it to him this weekend, so it might be next week before I get all three done. I'm tempted to try a 5 round one, I will print one and see if I can get the spring right, one of you might get that.

These are printed in a Carbon Fiber reinforced ABS, so besides the fit you need to tell me what you think of the material.

Anxious to see how these fit and seat. I love to see people innovating.
They fit well in my Seekins, maybe slightly tighter than the factory one, but I'm not a fan of how they retain the magazine with that tiny little overhang. Once I can confirm they work in multiple rifles then I may try some new latch catch idea's and extend the mags to 4-5 rounds. The springs get a little iffy if I go to much bigger, learned that on making 10 round magnum ACIS mags, just too much pressure on the sidewalls of the magazine.

I believe there's enough Seekins elements, ph1 and 2's out there you may get overwhelmed with demand. Their carbon is good, I had issues with one and had to get a replacement, so an aftermarket one would be very welcomed

Update!

Design is finished finally! Actually it worked when I originally posted, but each change I did, I found something that could be improved. I will be sending out the 4 mags this week for you to test. They fit better (in my rifle) than the factory ones. One of you will get an extended mag to try, I'm targeting 5 rounds in that one.

Let me know how they work, they will be cosmetically not perfect. But I will make them pretty after you 4 confirm functionality.
