McGuire ballistics

Just picked up a box of 195gr McGuire ballistics copper rose bullets. Wondering if anyone has any experience with them, groupings, ease of loading, terminal ballistics etc. eager to try them out

I just bought the same bullets to try in my new custom 300rum. I'd like to hear more info as well.

I shot them in my 300 NMI. Load them with similar data to a 230 Berger or 225 ELDM. I put them about .020 off and first group was 5 shots right at 1/2 MOA at 300 yards.

What kind of velocity were you getting? I will be using them in a standard 300 Norma. Any recommendations on powder? I have h1000 and n570 I'm gonna play with

I shot them with 92gr. N570 for 3250fps in a 24" barrel. Could have been a little on the warm side. But it was my only charge weight test and they shot well enough I didn't mess with it anymore.

So I would try 88-92gr. N570

Or

84-87gr. H1000
