How did that bull react when hit in the heart? I shot 2 one moring with both hits in the heart. It split the hearts wide open. Both animals reacted with their legs shooting out to the sides and dropping on there chest. I haven't repeted this again. I do note how animals react when hit by a bullet. Over the years I has stopped me from placing a second bullet into the animal if I am able to see how the animal acts after being hit, whether I need a second shot to finish the job.28 Nosler 168GR CRSF 718 yards 3250FPS

The bull was on an steep slope. Immediately ran down for 10 yards and cartwheeled into brush. We could slightly pick it up through the brush and within a few seconds it was not moving. The whole thing happened very fast. How did that bull react when hit in the heart? I shot 2 one moring with both hits in the heart. It split the hearts wide open. By the way a nice bull.
Thanks for the imput. I have and generally make heart shots in most of my animal. Deer I have note either they will drop on the spot or run up to hundred 100 or so. Their head are even with there back, and don't bouch, just run straight. I have seen and shot deer and anletope in the livers or watch them several time after being hit. They'll run for few yards, then stop and put their nose to the ground and back up, then drop. I hate to put more holes in them than needed. The bull was on an steep slope.
