Anyone shooting a 6mm Dasher with 105 or 109 bergers or Tubs and what powders are you using?
I know mostly everyone use Varget in 6BR, 6BRA, 6BRX, 6Dasher. If there any other powders used in the 6 Dasher with success. Please let us know.

Finally decided to build both the 6BR & 6 Dasher. We have all components for both but want some extra 6mm heavy MATCH barrels.
Now that Jill has retired, I feel that in a few weeks time we can have the shop's Electrical Wiring done and will be hiring some help to move equipment around the shop.
We possibly have new high school student that wants to have us Mentor him in chamfering./ceracoting.
I think within a few weeks we can start breeding new high quality rifles. Another plus is we have an appointment with MAYO to at least look over my case.
Thanks for everyone's support and help!

I use varget and RL-15 almost interchangeably, only a few tenths difference. I'm only using 105 amax though since I have close to 1k of them. It's working though, 5 rounds at 100yds.

Ive played with varget, and sw precision There's guys running h4350 w the heavy 6mm bullets 105+ grains. Most are using a drop tube and running between 34-35 grains typically running around varget speeds or slightly under.

H 4895 is the most common in the crowd I shoot with. I also use N-135 , N140 and N- 150. I shoot a lot of win 748 in my varmint rifles . Shooters World precision. Imr 4320. Anything in that burn rate area will work .

Just received ALPHA Brass for the Dasher. The price was high. $125 + ship + Tax $140+. The brass looks good, it is the new OCD and I like how they package them. In a reusable plastic box kind of like a MTM cartridge box so that's probably $7-10 for the box.
So now have all the components to build a 6 Dasher. I am ordering some MPA/Spencer Barrels so most likely going to use instead of Kreigers we now have. Probably put a PRS Match profile on the barrel and sell for PRS after getting it built.

1) Berger 105 Hybrids, Varget, CCI450, Alpha brass is easy button for PRS.
2) Berger 109 Hybrids, Varget, CCI450, Alpha brass option 2
3) Sierra 107 SMKs
4) Barnes 112 Match Burners (mixed reviews)

That said, I got tired of chasing Bergers so I moved to 115DTAC over 30.0 Varget with CCI450s, Alpha brass.

With constant Hodgdon price increases, seeing shooting buddies moving to VV N140 as cheaper alternative (crazy, VV was always expensive)

With Dasher - some are using H4350 as alternative to Varget but probably need a drop tube.

I have Varget, H4350, and N140 on hand. When I run through my Varget I will probably go to H4350.

When Varget was impossible to find, I used Accurate A2520 for a while - worked great but not as temperature stable as Varget, H4350. I moved from 6BR to 6Dasher for little more case capacity and ability to use H4350.

PS - In PRS, current theory is slower is better. 105s around 2800-2860 fps in Dasher, even slower in 6BR. I am running the 115 DTACs at 2750ish.

Hey Scott
We got plenty of Varget & H4350 and maybe 12 lbs of H-4895, but saving the 4895 for the .223.
Really all set with 105 Hybrids and 107 SMK.
Didn't really plan on building a Dasher, but components just fell in place. May just do a complete build for PRS with Matrix Pro, CDG, 1:7 PRS profile 26", Razor Gen II HD 4.5x27, MPA Mount, Whidden Click FL Bushing Dies, Alpha Brass, 105 Hybrids/107 SMK, Varget or H4350, do load work up and sell as a package.
Thanks

Ar comp works excellent in a dasher too. I ran out of varget and was forced to experiment. Loading 108 elds. Great Nodes for prs around 2800 and a higher node around 2980 with sub 5 SD and little to no vertical at 800 yards. Don't be afraid to try it
