Just curious but has anyone tried Ramshot Hunter ?What makes you think it anemic? 65CM case kind of small - probably push 140s at 2600-2700+ depending on barrel length. My 26inch 140 load is 2769.

I haven't yet, but did buy some for 7-08 and similar cases.Just curious but has anyone tried Ramshot Hunter ?
Bought some but have not tried it yet - assume may be temp sensitive (do not know that for fact). H4350 is available so that is primary 65CM powder for me with SB65 second. I just got home from range trip and my "NRL Hunter" 65CM setup did very well at 100 yard zero then 500 yard plates with Nosler 140 CC "blems" and Staball 65 loaded on a Dillon 550.Just curious but has anyone tried Ramshot Hunter ?
Just the pressure is pretty low , along way off a max load , not fazed as I'm chasing accuracy for this rig and will mainly shoot paper maybe a few small deer too, I crossed checked with quick load between h4350 and ar 2209 and there was about 8000 psi difference for the same powder amount that surprised me because I always thought they were identicalWhat makes you think it anemic? 65CM case kind of small - probably push 140s at 2600-2700+ depending on barrel length. There's a few members on here that have knowledge about "identical" powders (ie, h110 and ww296). Although I've been up to 1/2 grain heavier with 296 on many occasions. That's more than just "lot" changes.Just the pressure is pretty low , along way off a max load , not fazed as I'm chasing accuracy for this rig and will mainly shoot paper maybe a few small deer too, I crossed checked with quick load between h4350 and ar 2209 and there was about 8000 psi difference for the same powder amount that surprised me because I always thought they were identical
I've seen both type of cases for sale on wikiarms. Might be out? When I use H4350 in the 6.5 Creedmoor it's 41.7 gr behind a 140 gr bullet, 24" barrel..
But went to the bimetal SS case head 277 Fury case necked down to 6.5 Creedmoor and ran the Nosler RDF up to 3152 fps in the 6 5 Creedmoor. Went to the 153 Atip for a standard velocity of 2956, and the 150 SMK down from 3056 fps to 2980 fps ave. And the 147 eldm down from 3032 to 2979 fps. That is what is possible with the 6.5 Creedmoor and the hybrid cases made for the new military 6.8x51 cartridge known as the hybrid 277 Fury...but only the low pressure brass cases seem to be on the civilian shelves.
Are the bimetal SS cases hard to work with ? Don't you need a certain type of die to work them ?When I use H4350 in the 6.5 Creedmoor it's 41.7 gr behind a 140 gr bullet, 24" barrel..
