I am real olde & have had lots of invective hurled at me so any reactions regarding my cheerful use of my 8 twist 6mm Creedmoor are of no consequence.
I buy once fired 6.5 CM brass, often with small primers, and neck down & turn. I also buy new, small primer 6 mm CM brass. My LGS has abundant stocks of small rifle primers so I can maintain a large stock of ammo & shoot many rounds. The bullet seating configuration of the CM fits better in short action magazines for any rapid-fire needs, than the .243 W. The 30-degree CM shoulder slows down brass stretching and the need to frequently trim cases in comparison with the 20-degree .243 Win, fire forming is not needed. The .243 W is a reputation as being a barrel burner & small primer brass is almost impossible to find. CM dies are easy to buy & cheap. I use my 6.5 CM die as a body die & Lee collet die as a neck die.
I shoot 87 VMax's at about 3350 & a variety of 105's at 3000, at slightly more than 60 K psi, against rodents & steel targets. I keep about 250 rounds of 6 CM ammo on hand. I can buy small rifle primers locally without paying hazmat charges. Brass life is good, small primer brass appears to resist primer pocket expansion better than large primer pocket brass.
The other 6mm rounds may be nice but are boutique like - unable to make easy buys of cheap brass.
No mention of the 6mm Dasher - a frequent winner of 1,000-yard local BR shoots.
