I am going elk hunting in Colorado in 2024 for the first time. I am taking my 7mm Rem Mag, and am wondering if the Federal Terminal Ascent would be good bullets, or am I better off with Nosler Particitions?

I'd use them.. no questions.
I'd go with them as long as you have a good supply.
I assume your using factory ammo or somehow stocked up before they started using unobtainium as the base material.

Yeah, I was able to get several boxes of these, so I have them on hand.
Stay your course. There will be folks recommending you "magic bullets" BS. Shot placement is the key. Good luck and happy safe hunting.
Killed a large bull with them in 2019. They were the Edge TLR back then. Dropped it at 600 yards and performed great.

They are deadly on elk and one hole accurate out of my slow poky 06. I would not hesitate shooting anything with them!

I have a few of these in my collection 30 cal. 175's and they look the same. About to load the 30 cal. 175 T.A.'s in my new Warbird barrel as soon as it is twisted on
