Hello everyone, I'm in dire need of some advice on Accurate 4350. I'm assuming that the burn rate is similar to other 4350 powders, again "assuming," can be dangerous. Hoping someone has some experience with this powder and 130gr Berger VLD. Thanks in advance for any help. And yes, I'm well aware of the other powders that are probably far greater. This is just what I'm stuck with currently.

I shoot alot of accurate powder in my small sage rat stuff only thing I dont like about it its temp sensitive.
I've never played with AA4350 I just wouldn't run max loads and try to reload as close to hunting Temps as possible.
AA4350is suppose to be one of the better accurate powders for temp sensitive.

I'm pushing 140g Barnes bthp, misc brass for now, win and cci primers, with 40g Winchester staball 6.5 in a AR10-18" and 22" barrels. No issues. I've gone hotter but don't have anything to calculate speed or pressure. The groups are .75" at a 100yds. Haven't gone further yet.

From another forum:

"Here is Accurate's reply to my request for AA4350 load data when tested with a: 24"barrel in 1-9"twist, using Winchester WLR primers.

120 gr..start load-40 gr(2525-2625 FPS)-Max load 45 gr(2825-2925 FPS)
129 gr..start load-40 gr(2500-2600 FPS)-Max load 44.5gr(2850-2950FPS)
140 gr..start load-39.2gr(2450-2550FPS)-Max load 43.5gr(2750-2850FPS)"

I would load a safety check load at 39.0 and 39.5 and then start an OCW process at 40.0
