45-70

Will look at Marlins but really wanting a single shot like a T/C or CVA, ruger no. 1 etc so I can shoot heavy barnes at subsonic speeds. The heavy copper cant be loaded in tubes safely hence desire for single shot. What do you have and what would you like for it? Thanks!

I had the Winchester single shot (I think it was a low wall) octagon barrel that was sweet but they also (not sure of the manufacturer) make a Buffalo classic that has an even longer barrel that is less than half the price

Appreciate the tip, I'll be cutting it to 16" to suppress so trying to not butcher anything fancy haha.
