Dear all

I am looking for the ideal riflescope for a mountain rifle. Here is what I wold like to have:
-3-15 or 4-16 -ish magnification range
-40 - 50 mm objective lens
-mil reticle and turret
-exposed elevation and capped windage turret
-weight less than 25 oz (would be great under 22 oz)
-30 mm tube
- oh yes, and ideally no more than 1200$ ;-)

I know, keep dreaming... But maybe some of you have some suggestions.
If yes I am also ready for trades, because I have a mint -used only for one sighting in- weaver tactical illuminated 3-15 x 50 scope mil/mil FFP scope (asking 650$). (It hits almost all the marks, but it is too heavy and have exposed windage turret. Otherwise it has awesome glass and tracks perfect.)

Thank you for the replies so far. The nightforce SHV F1 is being considered I wish it could go on a diet...
The Leupold LRP looks nice but I am having difficulties getting used to the giant elevation turret
The Burris is also a bit on the heaver side and their reticle is rather unimpressive (I have veracity 2-10 x 40 which I like a lot however)
I noted that meopta is coming out a scope called "optika" which seems promising but I cannot find weight and price info on it.
Please keep the suggestions coming, thank you, Ferenc

Here is a good vid for you

The capped windage is the issue...the best ever made was Bushnell LRHS...there is one in the classified adds here...better snap it up...

Also the Leupold mark 5'is a pretty sexy option...pretty spendy for your specs

I have no experience with one but an Athlon Midas Tac 4-16 fits all your requirements. Most of the reviews of them Ive seen have been good but I believe they are made in China.
