My brother in law just bought a new t3x superlite 6.5 creedmoor from Cabela's. I was handling it & the first thing I noticed was I wasn't choked up on it like I was the tx3 lite. The action is smooth & it feels pretty good. Stock still feels cheap but it can be replaced. The problem I found was when I dried fired it the bolt felt heavy. To the point it was like the safety was on. Really had to lift up to get it to release. It is nothing like that when you first work the bolt back only once fired. This could potentially hack up a follow up shot if needed in a hurry. Anyone with tikka experience dealt this or have any ideas if this is the norm?

My 11 yo nephew manages his t3x compact in creedmoor just fine. The 60° bolt will usually have more lift vs a 90°. I also have an older t3 wsm rifle and after building several customs lately, it does seem heavier on bolt lift. They're still a great action. Mine will be getting converted to 6.5 saum over the winter. Selling the titanium carbon custom 6.5 saum I currently have.
