Hello Everyone..new here so introducing myself.. I have shot/hunted my entire life. Grew up on a small farm in ND ..was able to walk out our door and hunt as a very young kid.. had my first .22 rimfire at 6..since then my enthusiasm for firearms and hunting has only increased ..I am getting older now but fortunately, doesn't seem to be slowing down the hunting and purchasing, much to my wife's dismay.. :) I hunt a lot in what has been my home state for the past 30 years, Montana, mostly elk and mule deer..but love antelope season..as well as calling coyotes and p-dogs.. Have hunted some around the planet..been on 6 hunts in Africa, several in Europe, 4 in Asia and a couple in Alaska..Actually just got back from Turkey a few weeks ago on a Bezoar Ibex hunt.. Was a hard hunt, yet successful in the end..along with a Russian boar.. that's about it..Thank you

Warm welcome to you! Any headaches at the Turkish border? I imagine it wasn't just the hunt that was hard..!

NO--Turkey was perfectly fine actually.. no issues at all.. food was good, people were super friendly.. we were about 3 weeks early for the rut --so were not seeing the billies around as easily as you would in Dec.. have an an issue or two at other locations, but Turkey was not one of them.. :) at one point my partner was only 32 miles from the Syrian border.. a little closer to that place than I care.. the thing we should remember, the local economy really wants hunter dollars, so they really take care of you as best they can.. having said that, if the proverbial SHTF, not sure if they could do anything, but that diidn't happen..so at home with my family and good memories
