You didn't mention which caliber. It does make a difference. Model 70s in WSM calibers have a little different barrel contour than standard calibers. I found that out while looking for a replacement stock, also. You can get a Hogue overmolded stock with full length bedding block for around $200.00

You can get the DBM kit from Cabels's for around $85.00 plus shipping. You will have to do some minor inletting in the ADL stock. Use a good Dremel tool, take your time and you'll get it done.

If you are getting a stock made for the BDL, all you need do is order a BDL floor plate and a BDL magazine box. Floor plate $82.00, Magazine Box $10.00 plus shipping from Midway. If you are fairly good with tools, you can cut the ADL magazine box to fit. Just finished the very same conversion...

Saw a reference to this forum on another site and thought I'd check it out. I have never done any long range shooting/hunting, but the skills required and the works of art used have always intrigued me. So far, I have really enjoyed the forums.
