Have had bad exxperience with smart wool socks. They feel good to the feet, but if your feet get hot and sweaty, they peal the skin off my heals even with sock linners.

Posted reply on Retumbo for 300 Ultra. Have to play with powder. I use 96gr. behind 190gr. Bergers. After playing with seating depth. Have achieved a 3/8" group. With 2.5 FPS E.S.

Using 96gr. of Retumbo behind 190 gr. bergers. Was able to push to 97gr. But started to find some pressure signs and the E.S. went to 70 FPS. and gave a vel. of 3256 FPS. With 96gr. the vel. droped to 3165 but had only 2.5 FPS E.S. Also the accuracy of the 96 grs. was 3/8". Rifle is a REM...

The problem with currently available range finders. They do not zoom in close enough to provide an accurate reading. I wish someone would develope a range finding spotting scope. I currently have a newcon optics, and have in perfect circumstances ranged to 1300 yards at a granite rock face.
