Not a cheap option, but I bought one of these two years ago and I use it for everything from predator hunting to setting up spike camps and just backpack camping. Sure would get the job done.

I’ve come to enjoy the shooting sticks and/or using a pack instead of a bipod if I need a rest. I tried for a lot of years but it never felt right to me with a bipod hanging off the front of the rifle.
