Skip the Brake and go for the suppressor. Recoil and Noise reduction really helps prevent flinching.

I am using the adapter. Just waiting on a back ordered muzzle brake device. I shot it with flash hider and it worked perfectly.

Some of the adapters were a tube that screwed on the barrel, then the exterior threads were past the end of the barrel. Thus adding at least the length of the threads past the end of the barrel. V

As someone suggested, I found an adapter. It threads perfectly and doesn't add any length and not much weight. I need another muzzle device. I plan on putting a Rugged Muzzle Break instead of the flash hider that I took off of my AR-10.
