Ok.. so I hear all the time how great the 308 is but only for hunting to 600 yards... has anyone built a 308 round that will reach out and be lethal at 1000 yards with flatter trajectory? In other words put more powder/charge behind a 308? can it be done? or is it simply not worth it?

338 edge you call this a 338 edge but you stste it it is a 300/378 on here the EDGE is something different...isn't it? are you saying brass is hard to find for this? why can't any 300 brass be used? will 300 wm brass work? I guess I need more eductaion on this gun called teh 338 edge...
