Holy smokes......I'll bet that load was a bit over 65k psi. It would be pretty tough to blow up a Ruger #1 though. I shoot my factory chambered 450 Nitro Express Ruger #1 with 300's running 3050fps, and 500's a bit over 2400fps. At 7.5 pounds, it will knock you into next week. Tony

You may want to be careful there. We recently tested a bunch of AR-15 parts sold as 7075 with an XRF Spectrometer, and they were actually 6061. Hence the cheap price. I imagine the sellers don't plan on you having a $20,000+ metal analyzer on hand. Tony

I don't blame them. I have 700 pieces of new Lapua 260 brass that I tried to sell awhile back and couldn't get half of retail for it. I just gave up, and bought a 260 AR-10 barrel so I could use it. 22 Nosler and 40SW brass is the same. You can't give that brass away. Tony
