If I was to buy an off the shelf more budget friendly gun I would buy a Savage in whichever 110 config you like. I like the ultralites and varmint variations.

I have owned two Browning A-bolts won both at a sportsman banquet. Man I hated those things, kicked funny, inaccurate and just felt cheap. Sold em.

There are many options available based on how you want to do it. I use actions with guaranteed headspace. Order the barrels I want with specd out the way I want. Then I have a barrel vise here at my house and an action wrench. Torque the barrel down I want to use and off I go. Current setups...

You would also save fire forming the case. Do you already have dies for the 22-250AI? If not I would choose the 22 Creedmoor for simplicity reasons.

I just brush a little powdered graphite into the neck with a brush, the ones people use to clean their necks. Cold weld seems to happen more often if you SS tumble your brass is I stopped doing that

Cold weld of two metals together I put a little graphite in the neck of my brass to stop this issue. You can get pressure spikes from cold welding.

I think a 6PRC with a heavier bullet or a 25PRC. Should be fast and flat and buck the wind well.
