Great shot! Some people don't realize that out west here we have to occasionally make those shots. It is a considerably tougher shot in canyons and mountains than on the range. I can't say enough for McMillen stocks for holding all that metal still while you make the long shot.
My polymyositis keeps making me weaker, I love to hog hunt in Central Texas. I have a 300 RSAUM, It's a sweet shooter. Except for brain shots the hogs run a bit. I am thinking an Alaskan brush Savage in 375 RCM so I dont have to chase them down. All ideas welcome.
