Don’t use a tap and die…use a bronze brush and a CLP of some nature. Threads have tolerances and odds are your tap and die tolerances...

I'd use Hornady, used a lot of Whiddens and just won't again, the upper end Hornady is an outstanding die without a bunch of gimmicks!

IIRC, they only do dies once a month. My WAG is they are temporarily suspending it because they are overwhelmed and do not want more...

Hornady will make you a custom die based on prints or fired brass .... Whatever you want. You just have to call them and work it out...
