    SOLD/EXPIRED WTB Tikka SA Chassis

I’m looking for a chassis for a build I’m working on, T3X short action (AICS mag) and a MTU taper barrel. I’d like to find a McRees G7 or G10, MPA, MDT. I will entertain other chassis as well, colors don’t matter. Thanks

Need some advise on a caliber for Elk hunt

You already knew the 270 Weatherby is adequate, if you didn’t, stay home. Just go ahead and buy another rifle, that’s the point of all of this, right??

    Anyone using the 55gr Blitzking?

I have a CZ 527 with a 1:9 twist and I shoot 55gr Blitzkings very well, but I normally shoot 69gr Matchkings in it. I use 8208XBR powder.

Larger diameter bullets allow more room for error?

I believe the thinking behind this has less to do with bullet performance and more to do with bullet diameter. I shot 3D archery for many years and a ton of guys shot extremely fat arrows, they call them line cutters. The reason being on an imperfect shot the diameter of the hole is larger and...

    6.5mm - 25cal = .007"

I love the 6.5 and .25. I have been shooting a 6.5x284 for almost 20 years and have had a lot of success with it. I recently built a 25-06 with a 1:7 twist barrel and I'm still in the load development stage, but its looking pretty good so far. Will it be any better than my 6.5...maybe, but I...

    22-250 with 8 Twist Questions

I got one a few years back, shot 80gr. Sierra MK's really well. With an 8 twist barrel, I would be looking at 75gr.-80gr. Bullets. There are some good offerings out there.

    Custom Rifle Builder Question

I’d say Kenny Jarrett. When I was just getting into long range shooting this was the guy. He’s the reason I built my first 280AI.

If you could have just one rifle back ?

A Ruger number 1B, Bicentennial model in 6mm. It was my dad's I got it when he passed away. Long story short, bad marriage, forced to sell everything I had to get out of debt. That was years ago and things are great for me now, but it's gone forever.
